The streets of west London had been brimming with brightly-coloured outfits earlier as one of many largest road festivals on the planet, Notting Hill Carnival, held its predominant parade.
One million individuals are estimated to attend the occasion every August Bank Holiday weekend, with revellers pulling out all of the stops to embody the celebration of Caribbean arts and tradition.
The celebration started with metal drums on Saturday night, then youngsters took over Sunday’s parade. Monday sees the centrepiece, the Adult’s Day parade, conclude the occasion.
