PTI loses two NA seats as PML-N members reinstated

The National Assembly Secretariat has delisted two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members whereas reinstating the memberships of two Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmakers, Express News reported.

The Secretariat revoked the membership of PTI’s Rana Muhammad Faraz Noon and Chaudhry Bilal Ejaz, eradicating them from the meeting roster.

Conversely, the meeting memberships of PML-N representatives Abdul Rehman Khan Kanju and Izhar Qayyum have been restored. Both members had been re-included within the celebration’s official checklist.

Following these modifications, PML-N’s presence within the National Assembly has elevated from 108 to 110 seats, whereas PTI’s numbers have dropped from 84 to 82.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) reinstated the memberships of the 2 PML-N lawmakers based mostly on a Supreme Court directive.
