FIR Lodged against PTI lawmaker and party leaders for ‘firing at police’ in Islamabad


A case was registered towards Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Arbab Amir Ayub and native social gathering leaders after a violent conflict with police in Tarnol, Islamabad.

The incident concerned firing and stoning, resulting in fees towards 40 people, together with the MNA.

The case, lodged on the CTD Police Station by Tarnol’s Station House Officer (SHO), cites a number of offences underneath 11 ATA and 16 different sections of the regulation.

According to the police report, the protesting PTI supporters raised slogans towards the federal government, fired at police, and compelled shopkeepers to shut their companies.

The scenario escalated when the demonstrators refused to disperse, resulting in the violent confrontation.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, with efforts underway to apprehend the suspects.
