Atleast 23 killed in Musakhail as assailants target passengers on highway near Quetta



QUETTA:

Armed males have killed 23 folks after forcing them off their autos at a roadblock put up on a freeway in Balochistan’s Musakhail district, the police reported on Monday.

The attackers focused vehicles and buses on an inter-provincial freeway close to Rarah Sham, in keeping with Musakhail’s police chief, Ayub Achakzai. 

The victims, primarily from Punjab, had been shot useless after being pulled from their autos.

Before fleeing the scene, the assailants set greater than 10 autos on hearth, Achakzai stated.

A heavy police contingent and levies officers responded, transporting the our bodies to a close-by hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the assault.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the assault, expressing heartfelt condolences to the households of the victims.

Bugti said that the terrorists had focused harmless folks and vowed that neither the attackers nor their facilitators would escape justice.

He assured that the federal government would relentlessly pursue these accountable.
