People took to the streets of Buenos Aires after President Javier Milei introduced he would block plans to boost pensions according to Argentina’s triple-digit inflation charges.

Police used pepper spray on demonstrators and hit them with batons throughout violent clashes.

The president introduced his plans to veto the reforms tabled by the opposition-controlled Congress in a press release posted by his workplace on X, previously Twitter.

The assertion claimed the invoice’s “solely goal was to destroy the federal government’s financial program.”
