RAWALPINDI: Incarcerated former prime minister Imran Khan’s spouse Bushra Bibi has been discharged by an anti-terrorism courtroom (ATC) in Rawalpindi in 12 circumstances associated to the May 9, 2023, violent protests.

The listening to was carried out by ATC Judge Malik Ejaz Asif on Tuesday during which he rejected the prosecution’s plea looking for bodily remand of the previous first woman within the May 9 circumstances.

The listening to was additionally attended by investigation officers of the May 9 circumstances.

At the outset of the listening to, defence counsels gave arguments relating to Bushra’s bodily remand, whereas, the spouse of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder was represented by her counsel Salman Safdar.
