Belgium (Brussels Morning Newspaper) The European Commission has launched a name for nominations of scientists to be shortlisted for future membership of the Group of Chief Scientific Advisors.

The seven members of the GCSA are chosen for his or her excellent degree of scientific experience and broad imaginative and prescient on science for coverage, which collectively displays an understanding of necessary scientific developments, together with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary analysis.
They are appointed by the Commissioner accountable for analysis and innovation from a short-list established by an impartial, high-level Identification Committee.
