National Assembly issues production orders for detained MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry


The National Assembly Secretariat has issued manufacturing orders for Haji Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry, a detained Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-68 Mandi Bahauddin, to attend the upcoming meeting session beginning on 26 August 2024.

The orders had been issued by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq beneath the powers vested in him by Rule 108 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business 2007.

Haji Imtiaz has been within the custody of the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment since 24 July 2024, following an FIR registered towards him (No. 17/2024).

A letter has been despatched to the Director General of the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment, directing them to make sure Haji Imtiaz’s presence on the National Assembly session on Monday.
