Officials stated the provincial police chief vide a letter dated August 8 has advisable imposing a ban on pillion driving all through the province as per following dates and occasions for peaceable conduct of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) to keep away from any untoward incident.

The ban might be imposed within the South Range of Karachi from August 25 until 27, in East Range on August 26, whereas within the West Range of the Karachi Police from August 25 and 26.

In Hyderabad and Thatta districts, the ban might be imposed from August 25 and 26, within the Mirpurkhas district it will likely be in impact from August 26 until 27. Moreover, the pillion driving ban might be imposed in the complete district of Shaheed Benazirabad and Sanghar on August 26.
