Public, private schools in Sindh to remain closed on Aug 26

All faculties in Sindh, together with personal and public, will stay closed on Monday (August 26) as a consequence of Imam Hussain’s (RA) Chehlum.

A notification issued by the provincial authorities on Friday mentioned that the choice of instructional institutes’ closure was taken by a steering committee of the provincial schooling division.

The Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) will likely be noticed on Monday throughout the province with spiritual zeal and reverence amid excessive safety.

The occasion marks the fruits of a 40-day mourning interval after the martyrdom date of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his 72 companions within the Battle of Karbala on the tenth of Muharram in 680AD

Mourning processions with Alam, Tazia, and Zuljinah can be taken out in numerous cities throughout the province.
